Tangible interaction

We want the graphics and sounds to change into new “games” whit different sounds. Its engaging and you can be several people playing together.

The installation is made of sensors placed underneath a carped, a projector making the graphics, a camera, ultrasound or motion detector noticing movement, a speaker to make sound output, and a computer to detect inputs and outputs.

Based on a interactive floor, where you can jump around on the different moving graphics and make music or sounds.You can use a “jumping ball”, ore not.

Different ways to trig the sensors. stroking, hitting, blowing, drumming. etc. And many can play together.
Possibility to change the sounds/ instruments after some time.

The instrument is a big “sculpture” to play sounds on. It has different sensors hidden in its form, that you play on. It is inspired by Jeff Coons sculptures, and is made in hard, shiny material.
